1957-58 Australia in South Africa - The Fifth Australian Cricket Team to tour South Africa undefeated, attractive presentation incorporating a fully signed official team sheet together with an official team photograph fully signed in the margins (including Wally Gaunt, who joined the team due to team injuries). Annotated in gold and black on acid-free mountboard providing full details of the team, the the results and Australia's best performances. Framed and glazed; overall 105.5 x 59.5 cm. Australia, captained by Ian Craig and with Neil Harvey as Vice Captain, won the series 3-0, with 2 matches drawn. Australia's most successful batsmen were Burke (389), Mackay (375) and McDonald (349) and the bowlers who took the most wickets were Benaud (30) and Davidson (25). For South Africa, the best batsmen were Waite (362) and McGlew (354); the bowlers, Heine (17) and Tayfield (17).
