The first post-war Ashes Series saw England in Australia from November 1946 to March 1947. Bradman captioned Australia and Hammond was England's captain. (Yardley in the final Test). Australia won the Series 3-0, with the other 2 matches drawn. The Sydney Test match depicted in this image saw Barnes and Bradman each make 234 runs in Australia's 8 dec. for 659.
