A fine Hayashi Kodenji (1831-1915) Japanese cloisonne vase, Meiji period, (late 19th century), exceptional fine quality, worked in silver wire and various coloured cloisonne enamels on black ground with various birds and florals, the neck and foot with foliate lappets, stamped mark on the gilt base. Height 12.5 cm.
