An early 19th century pressed and black lacquered 'Bonaparte' snuff box, circular, a bust in profile in relief to the lid, fine pressed repeating diamond borders encircle, the white metal lined interior with two fragments, each labelled 'Piece of Upholstery of the Carriage Napoleon went to Waterloo In' and 'Piece of Upholstery of the Carriage Napoleon went to Moscow In'. Diameter 7.8 cm. Provenance: The Flower Family Collection.
