A group of famille rose wares, Qing Dynasty, Qianlong period, comprising a bowl, painted on the exterior with alternating landscape and floral panels within blue and pink enamel borders, wood stand, a pair of floral decorated plates, and another similar plate, -5, 25 cm diameter, 23 cm diameter, 22.8 cm diameter. Provenance: Walter Waddingham, Harrogate, the plates 2 October 1951, and the bowl 10 February 1955.

  • Qing Dynasty - The Qing Dynasty was the last imperial dynasty of China, ruling from 1644 to 1912. It was established by the Manchu people, who originated from the northeastern region of China. The Qing Dynasty was preceded by the Ming Dynasty and followed by the Republic of China.
