A tall flattened oval cylindrical vase by Hiroe Swen (Japanese/Australian 1934-), circa 1970's with matt aqua glaze, 28.5 cm high. Provenance: Margaret Vine purchased from the Queensland Potters Association, 26 June 1976. Receipt available. Exhibitions: her works are held in several major collections in Australia and overseas, including the National Gallery of Australia, the Department of Foreign Affairs and trade, Federal Parliament house, the high court of Australia, Australian Embassies and high Commissions (Washington DC, Tokyo, new Delhi), the Australian National University, and the OAkland Museum.
