Swedish silver spoon engraved Olof Hilmer Hedberg 14th April 1817 (on bowl) & Anders Hedberg (on handle) (19 cm). Olof Hedberg was born in Sweden in 1817 & arrived in Vdl in 1844. He became a well known whaler businessman & naturalist in the colony. The spoon was a gift at birth from his father.
