A vintage diamond set ladies wristwatch, 18ct white gold, circa 1960's, manual movement, presented as a slender oval shape case, detailed to bezel with twin brilliant cut diamonds, claw set in spaced arrangement, totalling approximately 0.50ct, connected by etched bars of white gold, fitted with black dial and two hands, no markers, connecting to an integrated 18ct white gold smooth bracelet of tapering form with fold over clasp. Length 18.5 cm total weight: 40.8grams

Circa - A Latin term meaning 'about', often used in the antique trade to give an approximate date for the piece, usually considered to be five years on either side of the circa year. Bezel - On a clock or watch, the bezel is the metal frame into which the watch or clock glass is fitted. In clocks, the bezel may include a hinge and a flange, in effect a door to the face of the clock. In jewellery the bezel is a band of metal with a projecting lip that holds the gemstone in its setting.
