A tall Chinese Wucai sleeve vase, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, decorated in underglaze blue and wucai enamels with dragons chasing flaMing pearls, between a scrolled foliate border with floral rosettes to the collar and a wavy lower border, pearl and flame decoration to the neck. The Ming Dynasty is known for its cultural achievements, including the development of porcelain, the invention of movable type printing, and the construction of the Great Wall of China.
