Surfboard: Terry Fitzgerald Winged Swallow Tail, 1976. This extremely unusual board has an almost squid-like shape. The front half is almost conventionally shaped except for some sharp concave on the rails in the middle. It then narrows to approximately 1/3 of its width and forming a swallow tail with fins on the very ends of the tail. It also has a larger centre fin. Shaped by Terry Fitzgerald in 1976 it is 6 feet 8 inches x 19 inches. This board was left with Don Craig after Terry had come across with Claw from Rip Curl to supply Don with 600 wetsuits. They stayed for several months and Terry left this radical shaped board as a thank you for their hospitality.
