A large Nepalese bronze group of Vishnu and Lakshmi, 19th/early 20th century, the group consisting of Vishnu, Lakshmi and Garuda atop a mythical lion, supported by a large and elaborate pierced double lotus base, with two holes where the original mandorla (now lost) would have fit. The double lotus base with a Newari inscription to the reverse, 54 cm high, 32 cm wide, 20.5 cm deep
