A 19th century or earlier whao pounamu (nephrite chisel), quadrangular form, evidence of stone tooled cut to one side, a central V-form cut to the length, flat bevel end. Provenance: Ex. Dunbar Sloane Auction, c.1980/90, then Private Estate Collection, length 9.1 cm.
