A Tibetan/Mustang district seated copper alloy figure of an Amitabha, 16th century, the Buddha is cast seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus throne, with calm facial expression and his hands held in dhyana mudra, eyes and lips inlaid with copper, robe nicely traced, the base with a lengthy inscription in Tibetan, sealed with a Visvajra, 18.4 cm high.
