A 20th century finely carved Maori stylised figure, protruding forehead, serrated inlaid paua shell eyes, tongue extended, three finger hands clasped to abdomen, well defined linial and notch carving, signs of wear. Height 45.5 cm, supported upon a contemporary white lacquered block stand.
