A Carlton ware Kang Hsi 'Blossom cartouche' Yen-Yen vase, 1914-15 period, pattern 596, shape 139, with six shaped gold rimmed cartouches to the body and trumpet neck, each decorated in a Chinese doucai palette of iron red, green, blue, aubergine and lemon with traditional auspicious blooms of prunus, peony, chrysanthemum and others upon a mottled blue ground; Kang Hsi mark and painted marks underside. Height 25 cm
