A World War I medal group to '11/259 F.W. Mothes', who served with the Wellington Mounted Rifles. Consisting of OBE Mil (in original case), World War I Trio all named, World War II Defence, War, New Zealand service - all unnamed as issued. New Zealand Territorial Service medal to Capt. F.W. Mothes NZTS. Also with this group is his MBE Mil (in original case). Together with: Gallipoli Anzac medallion and lapel gadget (engraved 11/259 to rear, with paperwork and original case). Warrant and 2nd Lt. commission scrolls, cloth patches, World War II dog tags and pay book. returned soldiers (Australia) badge). Three World War I and World War II photos, one with '6th W.M.R 1914 - Overton, Mothes, Taylor, Tickell' written by Mothes. Mothes was wounded at Gallipoli at Walkers Ridge on June 1915
