A full collection containing a World War I British War medal and Victory medal awarded to '4353 A-Sgt. R.L. Sawyer'. Robert Sawyer of Towoomba served with the 26th Infantry Battalion, was killed in action, in Belgium on 20/9/1917. He is buried at Oosttaverne Wood Cemetery. The medals come with Australian Military Forces 'For Australia' cloth badge and bar, Australian Imperial Forces rank certificates, diary in leather case, letters and papers. The medals are impressed and with ribbons
