A pair of framed antique Mughal paintings, 19th century, in opaque watercolours with gilt, illustrating scenes of courtly life, one depicting musicians in a pavilion and garden setting, the other comprising a narrative of a bedridden figure surrounded by mourners and other figures engaged in gossip and activity, both images with wide borders embellished with figures and animals.
