A beautiful antique diamond and sapphire butterfly brooch. Platinum, circa 1900, crafted as a large styled butterfly with detailed flared wings, finely pierced throughout and grain set to each section with single and old cut diamonds, further detailed to body and four points of each wing with Ceylonese sapphires of various cut, all of lovely colour, completed with brooch pin and concealed pendant bails.
