A rare Indo-Portuguese painted clay statuette of St.Martin de Porres, holding a crucifix and rosary, Goa, India, late 18th early 19th century. 24 cm. Provenance: From the Estate of Mr Mahinda Dharmapala of Colombo, Sri Lanka, former antique collector/dealer and owner of Treasure House, Borella, Colombo who passed away in October 2003. Dharmapala inherited the statue from his father.
