A fine pair of signed Satsuma cups and saucers, late Meiji period, early 20th century, the cups of low bowl form each with a continuous landscape scene with cranes and water fowl amidst abundant flora in subtle tones with fine gilt decoration on a pale ground, butterflies to the interiors, the conforming saucers similarly embellished; bordered four character gold signatures underside to all, cup height 5 cm saucer diameter: 14 cm, saucer diameter: 14 cm cup height 14 cm
