A fine signed Japanese okimono of two Oni, Meiji period (1868-1912), exquisitely carved and inked, depicting two seated hairy devil figures wearing findoshi, with fearsome faces, horns and reptilian like hands and feet, one grasping the arm of the other; signed underside and upon a timber base.
