A large old finely carved Chinese yew wood figure of Kuan Yin, the serene goddess in traditional pose emptying her sacred vessel held to her right hand, draped in a robe with fine adzed detail and natural wood graining and fine knotting evident, raised on conforming scrolling base. Good dark red/brown colour. Height 110 cm
