A pair of Chinese clay Riders on horseback, Tang Dynasty (618-906). With brightly painted saddles in red and blue pigment, and traces thereof, the riders' faces painted with individual expressions, their arms outstretched with hands cleverly curled to a loop to hold now lost objects, possibly weapons or riding crops, 28 and 29 cm high
