A Chinese Jun bowl in the song manner, possibly 960-1279, the tapering stoneware bowl raised on a small circular foot, of typical decoration with a purple mauve splash to light teal mottled glazed ground, the thick exterior glaze coagulating shy of the base; with firing grit marks to the interior and exterior. Height 7.5 cm diameter 18.5 cm
