A Chinese jade ornament, mid 20th century. Provenance: Purchased in Taiwan 1970s, carved in the round in rich modulating shades of emerald, brown and russet depicting symbolic fish and birds with a coin and lotus leaves and enveloped by a larger lotus leaf; upon a pierced rock form timber base. Height 13 cm. Width 18 cm. Depth 8 cm
