A good historical New Zealand and Pacific 19th century photograph album, includes: Fiji Islands, 26 albumen prints, 'Fijian Cannibal Feast', signed and other portraits, 'Making Kava', 'Fijians selling produceĀ» etc., mostly 13.9 cm x 20.2 cm; 11 albumen and carbon prints of Samoa includes 'Samoan Girls', 'Semanalako Samoan Chief', 'Matautu Savaii' by Andrew, others by Andrew etc; 12 albumen prints (10 by Josiah Martin) of Maori includes: 'Interior of Maori Carved House', 'Sophia, Maori Guide', 'Maoris Rubbing Noses', various geysers, etc., mostly 14.8 cm x 20.3 cm. The album and vintage photographs in good near original condition with photographs secured at the corners and mid-points. The album size 18.5 cm x 28 cm. Provenance: Found in England within a wardrobe where it sat for many decades
