'The New Game of Human Life'. A table-top game of moral improvement published July 1790 by Wallis & Newbery, London. Comprising of a hand coloured engraving mounted in 16 sections on linen, the game is divided into 84 numbered panels each representing a year of life. Each panel is illustrated with an image of man through the various stages of his life from No.1 'the infant' through to No.84 'The Immortal Man'. Manhood appears to begin aged 13 with an illustration entitled 'The Volunteer'.
