A 15th/ 16th century Thai Sawankhalok lidded bowl with small knob handle brown glaze, stripe designs to top and bottom, the criss cross and character designs are painted half on lid and base to line up. Darker glaze to handle. Provenance: From the private collection of an Australian diplomat, acquired in Indonesia and thailand in the 1980's and 1990's. 8 cm height, 11.5 cm diameter
