Group Lot of Six Medals. New Zealand Proclaimed a Dominion, September 26th 1907. Presented to the children attending the Schools of the Dominion [in 1908]. 26 mm, aluminium. Morel 1907/1-5. Together with (ii) To Commemorate the departure of N Z Troops from Lyttelton [to South African War] February 1900, 23 mm brass/copper; Moller and Young; pierced at 12 o'clock. Morel 1900/2-3-4. (iii) Nelson Celebrations Edward VII, crowned 1902, white metal, heart-shaped with crown pierced for suspension. Morel 1902/17-18. (iv) Royal Visit of Duke and Duchess of Cornwall & York medal, on HMS Ophir, June 1901, 26 mm, copper, pierced at 12 o'clock. Presented to New Zealand school children. BHM 3724, Morel 1901/9-14.
