(iii) Victory Medal 1919 (9/1255 Sjt J W Dalton, NZEF). (iv) War Medal 1939-45 (not mounted with group). (v) New Zealand War Service Medal 1939-45 (not mounted with group). (vi) Army Long Service and Good Conduct Medal, King George VI (WO II J W Dalton, NZAOC). 80 issued of this first type. (vii) New Zealand Meritorious Service Medal, King George VI (WO I J W Dalton, NZAOC). Granted 11 February 1946. Stagg notes second type of which 30 issued. (viii) New Zealand Long and Efficient Service Medal (S/Sgt J W Dalton, NZAOC). Approved 16 November 1928.
