A Chinese polychrome brush pot. Qing Dynasty, Kangxi period (1662-1722). Decorated with a continuous scene of scholars and their attendants and having a Studio commendation mark underside, Wen Zhang Shan Dou, translating as 'Scholarship High As the Mountain and the Great Bear'. Height 14 cm. Diameter 11 cm
