A rare 19th century Chinese porcelain bowl made for. The Persian (Islamic) Market, C. 1889, decorated in Canton famille rose enamel panels with birds, butterflies, insects and flowers. One panel contains an Islamic inscription and a Hijra date to AH1799 (by our calculations 1882 AD). Restoration to inner bowl and outer foot and underside. Diameter 10 cm
