A pair of detachable diamond and cultured pearl stud/pendent earrings, the round South Sea pearl drops, measuring approximately 12.3-12.1 mm, each suspended from a gold link chain, to the detachable round brilliant-cut diamond surmounts weighing 0.81 carats each, mounted in 18 carat yellow gold, length 2.8 cm . Accompanied by two reports from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) stating that the diamonds weighing 0.81 and 0.81 carats are H colour, SI2 clarity. Report numbers 2136837105 and 2146688943, dated August 17th 2012 and February 22nd 2013.

    In the gold industry, the purity of gold is measured in carats (abbreviated "ct"), with 24 karats being pure gold and lower carat numbers indicating a lower purity level. So, for example, 18 carat gold is 18/24 or 75% pure gold, and 12 carat gold is 12/24 or 50% pure gold.
