A celadon jade 'double gourd' plaque Qing Dynasty of elegant flattened double gourd form, the plaque carved on one side with the character Da on the upper section and Ji on the lower section, and with two bats at the waist in pierced relief, the reverse with trailing stems of fruiting gourd vine in high relief, using areas of russet suffusions to highlight the carving in the otherwise pale greenish stone, box 8 cm
