A William Moorcroft small bowl in the 'Eventide' pattern, squat circular shape with a hammer-finished pewter rim and a small spreading foot, the walls decorated with six trees in celadon, gold and blue on a plum background typical of the pattern, the interior glazed dark blue. Brush point initials and impressed factory marks under the base, c.1925. Diameter 9 cm.
