A rare George III Scottish silver wine funnel and matching saucer, the funnel of typical form with swollen upper section fitted to a tapering funnel, detailed with bead edging; the small circular saucer domed in the centre to accept the funnel standing upright; each piece engraved with the crest Campbell of Glenfalloch, Perth: a heart pierced through with an arrow beneath the motto 'Thus Far', the funnel Edinburgh 1786 by Francis Howden, the saucer by Wm. & Patrick Cunningham
