A standard lamp designed by Clement Meadmore, mid-1950s, the light within an adjustable black-painted aluminium shade on the tubular metal standard slightly curving towards its top, on a square iron base. Height 158 cm. Provenance: This light was part of the original furnishings of the 'Ednie house', Blackburn, Melbourne, designed by Robin Boyd in 1954
