A John Crichton rattan egg chair, John Crichton was a New Zealand furniture and interior designer. He established John Crichton limited in 1949, a business and shop located on Kitchener Street inAuckland. He offered interior design services and designed and sold furniture. He was a founder of the New Zealand Society of Industrial Designers (Nzsid) in 1959 and served on its council to 1966, height 132 cm, width 70 cm, depth 60 cm
