A yellow-glazed Crown Lynn McAlpine jug, with 'McAlpine' raised in relief. Unmarked. Some areas of pitting around the jug opening and handle. Minor chipping to the spout. These jugs were designed specifically for domestic refrigerators. Crown Lynn was a New Zealand ceramics manufacturer that operated under various names between 1854 and 1989.
