Bruce Kerr was a particular friend of Spike's, knowing also his parent's who lived at the end of the street-Cedar Crescent Blackwall. Spike always came into the office whenever he visited his family, once bringing with him Harry Secombe, a rare couple in Woy Woy! Their friendship spanned almost 60 years
