1932 Los Angeles bronze Participation Medal by Julio Kilenyi of New York, and produced by Whitehead-Hoag, USA; 69 mm, 147gm. obverse: standing male athlete carrying an unfurled banner of the Xth Olympiad. Reverse: Two seated female figures supporting the shield of the United States. Superb condition.

It is very fluid in a molten state, and its hardness, strength when set, and non-corrosive properties makes it most suitable for casting sculpture.
