A Sri Lankan .800 silver box, Sri Lanka, Kandy, early 20th century the trinket box of rectangular bombe form with rounded, scalloped ends, the hinged and domed lid repousse and chased with Kandyan vegetal and floral scrollwork framed by beaded and geometric borders, the underside engraved with a matching design, stamped 800 to the inner rim.
