A Japanese red Jinbari vase, Taisho (1912-1926) or early Showa, early 20th century the high-shouldered lobed ovoid body rendered in repousse technique with a continuous scene of birds amongst wisteria and bamboo on a stippled ground and covered by a red hued glass, fitted with silvered copper rims, on an oriental carved hardwood stand, apparently unmarked, probably Ando Studio (Nagoya), height 24.5 cm
