A Chinese Straw-Glazed equestrian figure, Sui (581-618) or early Tang (618-907) Dynasty, 7th century, finely modelled as a male rider on horseback, the horse with downcast head and open mouth, covered in a yellowish straw glaze, 30.75 cm high, 23 cm wide.
