A very rare Rene Lalique Papillon Ailes Fermees seal c.1919 'Butterfly Wings Closed' 5.7 cm tall standing butterfly form with wings together highlighted by a sepia infusion in the glass. Bears a script signature underneath the tail. A minor inclusion in the glass on the foot. Cannot be felt or seen on display. The inclusion may be original.
