Richard Walter Hillsdon, photographer, Lyttelton, New Zealand, sepia photographic print dated 26/11/10, laid down on card, titled 'Officers and crew Capt. Scott's Antarctic Exped.1910' depicting the men in full uniform on board the 'Terra Nova' prior to departure, 24 x 30 cm; in contemporary frame, 51 x 56 cm. This image was taken at Scott's request so that his officers and crew would have a photograph to send to their families and friends prior to departure for Antarctica.
