Andrew Hardie Gilchrist. A document issued in the name of King George V, stamped 'Temporary' and dated 6th February 1919, appointing Andrew Hardie Gilchrist a second Lieutenant in the A.I.F. Land Forces on 22nd April 1918. (Gilchrist departed on that date as part of the 10th general service Reinforcements; returning to Australia on 4th January 1919.). (3 items). Also, Gilchrist's certificate from Loyalty Masonic Lodge in Wangaratta 1932 together with a 9ct gold Masonic medal with ribbon and pin in the box of presentation (by Harvey C. Smith Ltd., Melbourne) engraved 'Loyalty 358' 'Presented to Wor. Bro. A.H. Gilchrist by the Brethern of Lodge Loyalty no. 358 as a token of esteem 7: 9: 32 / 1931-32'.
