Lenci felt character doll, 1940s-50s. Modelled and dressed to represent Melanie from the film gone with the wind as played by Olivia de Havilland. Swivel head with painted features and brown eyes looking to the right, long blonde curly wig and long limbs jointed at the shoulders and hips. She is holding a heart shaped card tag in right hand with handwritten 'Melania' script. Dressed in a shell pink silk bodice and hooped crinoline and skirt with matching felt flower trimmed bonnet with black felt high-heeled shoes. Appealing doll in very good condition for age. Height 66 cm
