A Chinese white jade teapot and cover, 20th century, the gently compressed globular body supported on a short foot, with handle and spout carved to imitate gnarled branches laden with blossoms and buds wrapping around the body, the domed cover surmounted by two arching branch handles, the translucent white stone evenly coloured, in velvet-lined fitted case. Height 8.5 cm, width 16.5 cm
